Many residents of Mukilteo display a license plate holder, "Mukilteo, My Favorite City", and for good reason. Perched on the southern corner of Port Gardner Bay, many hundreds of homes enjoy expansive salt water views and glorious sunsets. The name Mukilteo is from the original native american, for "good beach". Mukilteo also has good shopping, schools and neighborhoods.
